Was watching the Taipei celebration concert which was much more exciting...esp May day...their performance was so wow. Farenheit (Fei Lun Hai) absolutely flunk their performance...they just again reconfirmed an opinion..pple who look good can't sing.haha. Really bad. I was cringing through their singing for the 1st song.and just when i thought their pitch for the 2nd song was alright, they have to be a whole bit slower then the music...awkward man!

一日のこと!! Helen the Baby Fox!
yup...now watching Helen the baby fox now while typing this entry so may have typos...so cute the fox...looks like my cat..when it sleeps.
Anyway, today i went to Vivo with my friends. Got a piggy bank with angpao money in it for my bdae present. Today was a really suay day. First, i have to rush out of the hse all becoz of my stoopid bro..had to wait for him to come home before i can go out coz he didnt bring the hsekeys....but in the end he was so late that i left before he came back. Haiz. Then when i reached Vivo, have to locate my friends who were waiting near charles & Keith. But i got lost. In the end, walked in the wrong direction all the way to harbourfront instead...blur like hell....then along the way, my straps on my birkenstock snapped. What the.. i had to drag my feet all the way. Then after discovering i was in the wrong direction, had to drag my feet all the way back again. Went to buy a pair of shoes at charles & Keith. Went Sushi Tei to eat lunch later. Ordered the Ebi Don which was quite normal...not exceptionally delicious, just the same as anywhere else. But the Ebi Mentai sushi is still as delicious as ever..prawn topped with cod roe...yum! Then later walked around abit...went to Fox or isit Foxy the clothes store, saw a jacket which was very nice but that was the last piece and was abit too small for me..hai..my jacket..
Viewed some of the photos of the cosplay at the Gala Premiere of Deathnote 2: The Last Name. Erm..seriously, they were quite O_0". Although i'm not in a position to criticize since i dun think i wil have the guts to cosplay in front of so many pple, but the cosplayers at the event didnt really make an effort to resemble the character. Like the Light with black hair when its supposed to be brown, and it seems that Light always wears light-coloured suits but the Light who won was in a full black suit. Hai. Was discussing about cosplay with my friend las time, and we both agreed that to do a wonderful cosplay, the cosplayer must be slim and pretty. For guy cosplay must be tall, skinny built with a beautiful face. Yup. Most importantly, must apply makeup, if not the whole cosplay would not seem complete. thats why, i need to slim down much more for the Cosfest 2007....need to look my best for the first cosplay.
Have been spending alot of money..quite scary...just ordered the other 2 characters from the Happiness chan series just to keep my happiness chan plush toy company. Hai..abit waste money but after thorough thinking, really wanted the other 2 characters who are Angst and Rain...and since there is a sale, so ordered them both.
Anyway...should have blogged about this long time ago...Have been to 2 gothic lolita shops. Haru and Sumairu. I must say that the service that i got from Sumairu was alot worse than that at Haru. When i was a Haru, since it was the first time I'm buying gothic lolita clothes, was a little unsure of which type i would look better in. I tried quite alot of outfits but the storekeeper at that time was really patient...kept taking alot of outfits for me to try and when i say i wanted a black lace skirt, she went through the many skirts on the rack and pick out a few skirts and bring it to me without me having to step out of the changing room..which was very convenient. In the end i bought a top and a pair of socks from the shop. Even when i ordered the boots from Haru through the SGcafe, the lao ban niang, who is Iceprincess actually helped me out when i didnt noe which size to order. Service= A++++
Missing a black lace skirt to match my top, i went down to Sumairu which is at Dhoby Xchange. For the 2 times that i went there, i haven once seen the shopkeeper smile and say welcome or anything. She will just stand there stiffly and just glare at you. Even if you ask her anything, she'll answer reluctantly..as if u're really stoopid. Thats how i feel. That time i went to buy the black lace skirt, as usual, no smile, no greetings, not very happy to see potential customers. I wanted to try on the skirt and was shown into the fitting room. In the fitting room, there is a whole trolley of hangers occupying like 1/4 of the room leaving with minimal space to change. Kept hitting my elbows against the walls of the fitting room. Okie, it fits, was very satisfied with the skirt so decided to buy it. After the store discount, it was $58. Quite ex considering that i bought the rather elaborately embroidered top at Haru for just $60 and i have to pay $58 for a short skirt? but anyway, since i need to complete my outfit have to buy, then coz i rem that the shopkeeper mentioned that there are discounts for SGcafe members so i asked if there are further discounts for SGcafe members. She gave me a wry smile, and asked me for my nick. I told her. She actually replied that she has never heard of my nick while giving a half-believing smile, more of like a scoff or something. I was like what the.... But she did give me the discount anyway...which is like another $3 off only..so in the end $55. ..hai. I was quite pissed. She thinks that i'm a cheapo bringing up SGcafe, despite not being a member, just to get some more discounts but in actual fact, i am a member lor. Sheesh... that day when i went home, i actually wanted to log in to SGcafe and post under her thread to notify her that: In case she did not know i exist, here i am and i did not cheat her of extra discounts..i even joined SGcafe before her lor..what the hell! I think the storekeeper should really reconsider her attitude towards the customers..its really a big turn-off. But there was 1 time i went to Sumairu, the store was tended to by a male staff. He was a complete opposite. Very friendly and he insist that i try on the outfits of the store but at that moment i wasn't so into GL so declined and walked away. I hope the female storekeeper could learn more from him.
Phew, after getting out the bottled frustrations, feeling much better. In future, i'll go down to Haru first if i need anything.

ahh....つまらない!!!
yup...as the title suggests, i'm bored to death!!! although there is like 1 week till uni starts, i'm really bored!!! Ever since i've finished my whole set of the deathnote manga, been slugging around...surfing net etc etc...but still so bored! nothing to surf on the internet also, and then when i load the videos to watch on youtube, most of the videos load halfway and stops there! Arghh, frustrating! cannot even watch animes on youtube! really nth to do now. Going to Vivo tmr. Although i live like quite near Vivo but tmr will be the first time i actually walk around to shop! the first time i went there was to go straight to sushi tei to have dinner and then go home..so thats it! Haven really visited the many shops in Vivo.
Speaking of Deathnote, the last 2 volumes were simply so exciting! Like how in the end Near managed to outwit Light. But the part about how Near discovered that the Deathnote that Light's accomplice was holding was a fake, quite confusing. Had to read twice before i understand the whole thing. And i dun get the ending of the manga at all! seems like a whole lot of people walking across so desert or plains then with the one girl placing down the candle she was holding at the peak of some mountain, like some tribute to Kira. But then, on a second glance, i think she possesses the Shinigami's eyes or something like that. I hope this will be explained in the Book 13 of deathnote, which i've just placed an order for. But on the whole, the best manga i've read! really, if you like detective stories, go buy this manga!
trying to watch Honey and Clover on youtube but still didn't manage to even download a proper first episode. The videos kept loading halfway and then stopping. Maybe its my internet connection or something like that.
Its 1.34 am in the morning but i still dun feel tired enough to sleep! Arghh...must be my piahing of manga the few nights before that caused this, became nocturnal..haha. Thats actually not bad! but tmr have to wake up early coz need to go Vivo. Hopefully it will not rain tmr if not with my birkenstocks, i'll be slipping and sliding all the way in the shopping centre. Dying to watch deathnote 2 movie but didnt watch deathnote 1 so no point watching 2 rt? And i just learnt about the marathon thingy but all tickets already sold out i think. wah...with the success of the deathnote movie, maybe more manga-based movies will appear. But then, on second thoughts, not many mangas can be adapted to films starring real people. I think the draw of Deathnote is that it is actually starring real people instead of being an animated film. Most of the people's reaction to animated movies would be....they are for kids. So Deathnote successfully captures the wide market. Secondly, it is a police-and-thief story. So basically, realistic rt? (Except the part about L not dying of diabetes after consuming 100X more sugar than an average human.)
Back to the point abt manga-based movies, inuyasha will be out, then all other demon-related like bleach etc, naruto all out. Hmm...like quite alot. So i think if any of the movies were to come out, none of them would be as popular as Deathnote. This is my own opinion though.
Wanted to post the pictures of my birthday presents and thanking the relevant people but cant seem to be able to load any pictures yet! SO its back to boring life...
okie...my cat keeps harassing me so i'll have to end here and throw him out! bye for now...hopes life gets more interesting when uni reopens!

1 hr and 44mins after my birthday....
okie...nothing special happened on my birthday actually. Woke up very late coz was piahing the whole set of deathnote manga that i just bought from malaysia. Slept at 4am in the morning. Woke up at around 11+ and accompanied my mum to visit my grandma. Then went home. Hole up in my room and read more manga. Ate my dinner. Fell asleep. Woke up at 8.30pm to watch some tv and cut my birthday cake. Then surf net till now. Haha...what an uneventful birthday. But i didnt want it to be any special anyway. Actually i dun feel that the 21st birthday must be very special or sth like that. To me, its just another birthday. Spent quite alot of money now, more than even my angpao received on my birthday can cover. Bought a whole set of gothic lolita items to prepare for cosfest 2007. Yay!!! Hoping to slim down by then but as yet haven taken an action...feeling really fat and heavy.
The sky just couldnt stop raining, which sort of dampens my mood. The thought of all the poor kitties out there in the rain, no where to find warmth, hai...really sad man.
Went to eat at the Ju Shin Jung korean restaurant near my house on the day of christmas. You would think, hah? korean cuisine on Christmas? abit mismatched right? i thought so too and was strongly against going to the restaurant. I wanted to call for KFC delivery instead. However, with pressure from my bro and Dad, i called to make a reservation. Hai...but the food was really good man. The bbq pork which i wrap in lettuce before eating was simply delicious! And the kimchi soup! nice! And the service was really good. Once u have ordered ur meal, a variety of side dishes will be served. After eating the side dishes, will be abt half full already. For the restaurant, you can choose either to sit on the floor to enjoy ur meal or take a normal table. Strongly recommended. But since its quite packed, its better to place a reservation.
After the spontaneous advertising,i shall start with the 'Thank you's for my birthday.
Grace= thank you for the cookies! really loved them although i spilled about half of them on the floor after struggling to pull open the packaging. And are u sure they are not cinnamon flavoured? got check with your mum anot?

And a general thank you to the four buddies above for giving me what i wanted for my birthday!
Lee Hui= Thank you for being my buddy throughout the whole university life. hai..cannot be in the same class next sem but we can meet up for lunch! And also thank you for being the first to give me my birthday present! very cute and practical. And also thank you for the handmade christmas card. Very nice. YOu can go and sell liao lah...
