update
yay...finally found time to update my blog again..and at sucha weird time too....went to bed at 1am...tossed and turned..couldnt sleep so got up again...decided to blog a little coz could almost see cobwebs forming here...anyway....PA just ended...was really quite happy...i mean...can get up a little later everyday...then can spend time at home slacking and getting fat...about the cosfest 2006, i must say the standard this yr is a lot better then the last yr's...esp the cosplayers competing onstage. I guess its becoz of the prize, which is a chance to represent singapore in the intl cosplay competition which will be held in Japan. I really liked the show by the Catamaris...if that is how it's spelled...they were really cute. But in the end, gundam seed won....i must say their performance was really interesting and daring too. Didnt know that the gundam seed cosplayers are actually makoto youko and witchcat, was wondering where they are at the cosfest, coz they could be considered regulars. I think youko slimmed down alot...and its really alot....
On the cosfest day, everything went fine, the buses and mrt came really quick so i dun have to wait for a very long time coz makeup will melt....piled on thick foundation and dark eyeliner. But i didnt cosplay lah...where got time to get the costume and everything while doing PA? Kind of sian diao in the PA to be in the mood for anything. This year's cosfest also got a lot more pple.....and also those bu xiang gan pple also alot....and they always like to block my view..yah...like pple trying to take picture then they'll stand rt next to the cosplayer who is posing...i mean are they blind? like those aunties and uncles just stand and stare...hai....coz its a free event so eveybody go in and see.... anyway was saying that my day went quite well...except for a small hiccup...i accidentally kick a cup of drink which is sitting on the ground...and it toppled and spilled pepsi all over the floor of D'MArquee...so paiseh...but heng nobody see...dunnoe why...was looking around but nobody was looking in the direction so i sneaked away to take some pics again.....
Then there was a huge bonus on that day....me and my friend was looking around for any cosplayer whom we have not taken a photo of, when we spotted somebody who looked like Shinya from Lucify. Then i was like saying:" bu ke nen lah, how come he is here? bu yong record meh? hao xiang bu shi..." then my friend also thought so....but a group of girls approached him to take photo with him....then i was like thinking maybe its him....but after he had taken foto, he dashed away, through the crowd....me and friend was like following him but he disppeared....dunnoe why walk so fast....so we loitered around the area hoping to see him again....but he didnt appear, think he camouflage until dunnoe where....i mean he is so skinny lor, any pillar can conceal him...anyway....after the end of the whole event, we spotted him standing near the car on exhibit. So with a do or die attitude, i dashed towards him, waving frantically like an idiot....then he was talking to sb else. Heng they were ending the conversation liao if not i have to stand there looking like an idiot, so i went up and said, " Shinya, can take a photo with you?" he was like okie then i turned around, prepared to hand my camera to my fren, only to discover that she was nowhere to be found.Alamak, so gan ga....then i asked the person who was conversing with shinya earlier to help me take a foto but she say she dun noe how to use the camera...oh my god...sb help me...heng some of Shinya's friends were standing nearby so i just asked them to help, Then 1,2,3, Click! Phew, finally a pic taken....then a bit gan ga...dunnoe what to say so anyhow say, "wo monday wan shang hui kan ni men the biao yan" then rushed off to find my friend.Aiyo...my poor friend...somebody accidentally knock into her and her camera flew out of her hands and skidded across the floor, she was fuming mad...but heng the camera is okie lah....if not that guy sure mei you hao ri zi guo.....which my victory foto, we left downtown east...what an eventful day....but the foto which i took with shinya must be hidden...haha....looked like a chong qi wa wa....dunnoe why leh....
anyway...Lucify in the grand finals already....yay....looking forward to their performance which is in 2 weeks time...hopefully they will perform much better....this week's and last week's performance was a let-down....that is how i feel.....really weak...but i still called for them lah....but for the grand finals....i think i wont call, coz i mean....i'm not sure whther Lucify is fit enough for the title of Superband so i 'll just see who gets it...if its soul...hai.... then Singapore's first Superband is a group that dances but cannot sing, if its J3 then a group that sings but only one can dance, Milubing...think they are too young...they looked kiddish...Lucify doesnt look like they can bear the title too....so...really dun noe who will win....
Today was a little crazy, spent the whole afternoon reading the superband blogs...i enjoyed reading amber's.....it was really fun to read....the part about the stats is very funny, like what the number of fans min 5 and still counting...haha...was laughing my head off...seriously lah...i think their fans also quite little....but if Dayvid continues to blog, fans will definitely increase...think i became a fan liao.....a very funny group of people. And there were some parts about the cruelty of entertainment..how it massacres creativity, music etc..i think...that's how i interpret it..but it is how it is.....show business....must be marketable....it seems that the television station is milking Superband dry....like how they intro the sms chat that is 60 cents again....eveything also superband this and that....hai....cruel lah....and how they play with the feelings of the band members...like deliberately putting them last to create a false image that that the band had the 2nd lowest votes although they said it is not in order of number of votes.....then voters will vote more and they get more money.....hmm....guess i was fooled too....
oh my god...1 hr almost up...going to try to sleep after this blog....anyway...i've been having this crazy idea....to take every bus that goes by my house and to ride all the way to the bus's last stop. Just to see where each of the bus's final destination is. then maybe walk around and take the bus back again. Think it will be really fun. Dying to take 51 coz the end is hougang....can walk around and see see.....maybe i'll do that tmr...and who knows...maybe somebody i know will get on the bus somewhere then can talk abit...haha....
